Purpose

Device is used to create controlled aerosols in the air:

  • sulfuric acid;
  • nitric acid;
  • sodium hydroxide.
  • Generated aerosols are used to functionally test the response of gas analyzers and assess their correct operation under conditions similar to actual operating conditions.

    Characteristics of the concentrations created

    Specific concentration value is set individually for each sample upon release from production (1-2 MACs of the working area air).

    Established values are indicated in the product data sheet for each substance.

    Important information

    Device does not have metrological certification.

    Using the Eris-Geyser does not replace the mandatory annual calibration of gas analyzers, but is intended solely to verify their operability and functionality

    Design and configuration

    Eris-Geyser is a portable, self-contained device.

    Standard package includes:

  • Eris-Geyser test device;
  • silicone tube;
  • calibration nozzle;
  • charger;
  • laboratory stand;
  • instruction manual;
  • passport.

  • Operating principle

    Device operates on an ultrasonic principle.

    Aerosol formation occurs by atomizing aqueous solutions of sulfuric (nitric) acid or sodium hydroxide with an ultrasonic emitter, ensuring stable and reproducible aerosol cloud formation.

    Scope of application

    Performance testing of ERIS gas analyzers:

  • Routine and unscheduled checks (in the laboratory or at the operating site);
  • Use during pilot operations;
  • Functional testing before equipment commissioning.
