“ERIS” Presentation of the cutting-edge technologies for gas safety at "Gazprom-transgaz Saint-Petersburg" event

On August 29th, the LLC "Gazprom Transgaz Saint-Petersburg" held a large-scale event where "ERIS" presented wireless solutions developed on the basis of the latest technologies and united in the “ERIS Gas Safety Control Complex“.

In order to assess the efficiency of the complex, a commission was set up comprising the Public Incorporated Company “Gazprom“ experts, including representatives of the LLC “Gazprom Gaznadzor“, the LLC “GazpromVNIIGAZ“, “Gazprom Gazobezopasnost“ as well as representatives of corporate security services and departments 816, 817, 307, 308,342, 646, 647, 644 and 651 The Gas Safety Control Complex was presented by Gennady Pavlov, the Director of Development, who made a positive impressionon the committee.

The complex utilizes a fullrange of wireless field and portable devices manufactured by ERIS, including ERIS-414PG, ERIS-210-RF DGS, ERIS S-POINT (SOSbutton), as well as temperature, pressure, humidity and vibration sensors from third-party manufacturers.The hardware and software complex ER Connect, which provides data collection, storage, analysis and visualization, was responsible for integrating several complexes into a single information space and organizing the interface between the equipment and the operator.

The key component of the complex is a LoraBOX wireless controller - an innovative device for controlling wireless gas detectors, capable of operating over a wide temperature range from -45 °C to +65 °C. It is a customizable control system capable of handling signals from up to 80 gas detection devices. The flexible modular design allows the device to be adapted to a variety of technical requirements and reduce the risk of accidents in the workplace. At the recent ”TatOILExpo” exhibition, the device was awarded the title of “the best project / technological solution in the field of environmental and industrial safety”.

The experts from LLC "Gazprom" analyzed the technical characteristics and functional modules of the system, confirming its compliance with the Technical Requirements according to the standards of technical assessment of "Gazprom" Company.
