The meeting "Digitalization of Production in the Chemical Industry as an Efficiency Increase Tool" was held in the Tula region.


On March 15, 2019, on the basis of United Chemical Company "Shchekinoazot LLC" a joint meeting of the Department of Chemical-Technological Complex and Bioengineering Technologies and the Department of Digital Technologies of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation with the technical specialists of the enterprises of the chemical industry and the developers of measuring instruments "Digitalization of Production in the Chemical Industry as an Efficiency Increase Tool" was held.
The event was organized by the Department of Chemical Technology Complex and Bioengineering Technologies of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and the Department of Digital Technologies of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, "Scientific and Technical Center“"Himvest" of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, Association "AVTOMETKHIM", "Shchekinoazot".


Victor Evtukhov, the State Secretary and Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, addressed the meeting with a welcoming speech.
During the first part of the meeting, most of the speakers in their reports spoke about the current tendencies, trends and opportunities of digitalization and automation of chemical production.


Yuri Novik, Director for Development at Avtometkhim Association, presented the presentation "Modern possibilities of developing virtual process control systems based on cloud technologies. Trends in industrial automation", and the representative of SUER (ENERGY RESOURCES MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS), together with "ProSoft Company", talked about the development of innovative software and hardware systems for automated process control systems in the Russian Federation.
The problem of the industry's impact on the environment was also considered by ERIS Group together with ER-Telecom, which presented the idea of digitally providing a system for controlling air pollution and technological environments and the environment at chemical enterprises, as well as integration into the industrial Internet of things.
Sergey Zemlyaninov, Deputy Director of Technical on Automation and Communication Tools, Chief Metrologist of OJSC Shchekinoazot, and Vladimir Severyenko, Director of LLC NK Optimum , presented the report “Experience of implementing innovative solutions in production, promising own development. "
Also during the event, were presented reports by Vladimir Dozhdev, Director of the Department of Digital Technologies of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, Alexander Mazhuga, Rector of the Russian Chemical Technology University. D.I. Mendeleeva, Vladimir Savchuk, Director of FGUP “Scientific and Technical Center“ Himvest".


The second part of the meeting was led by Maria Shklyaruk, General Director of ANKO “Center for Management Decisions”, who spoke on “Approaches to digital transformation (“ What we teach civil servants ”), and then, together with her colleagues from ANKO “Center for Management Decisions”, organized the work of four impromptu working groups on the question “What are the strengths of our industry and digital solutions that will help us in the digital transition and what could be the chemical industry platform?”. The results of the work of these groups were reviewed and discussed separately.


The meeting was attended by more than 60 representatives of the industry, during the event were considered the most relevant methods, methods, solutions and problems of digitalization of production in the chemical industry.
